For shooting games, the Move turns into a gun with an aiming reticule appearing on screen to guide you. You can simply waggle or shake the Move to activate a knife attack on enemies. Pairing the Move with the optional Navigation controller to move your onscreen character is a must, because trying to use the Move to aim and shoot, while juggling the normal two-handed controller with your other hand can turn you into a lumbering zombie.
