Although there are a few nice features about this game, there is far more negatives then positives. First off let me start off by saying that I have bought every game that 2k has made, but the last 2 years have been my 2 least favorite in the series. Maybe it is just me and maybe it is because I am not a hardcore gamer anymore, but I just want to sit down and enjoy a game, but I can’t do that with this game. It is impossible to make any shots as I shoot wide open 3 pointers and even lay ups at times and they won’t go in. I can’t even beat the computer unless I am on rookie, but forget playing anything harder they make every shot imaginable. I guess I am just waiting for an explanation from the creators to tell me why the heck did they make this game so dang hard. I am suprised it has got such high ratings I wouldn’t rate it higher then a 6 out of 10, but since it is rated at almost 9 out 10 I am forced to give a 1 star to make it close to its real rating. If you enjoy great graphics and a challenge(in a sports game) then maybe this is for you and you can disregard this message, but if your anyone like myself that doesn’t want to have to memorize about 20 buttons and tons of plays just to win a game(literally you can’t pick up this game and just play and have fun its just frustrating). Hopefully you make the right choice.

I played my buddies game and I am glad I did not waste my money. This game has glitches and the frame rate problem is real. Maybe I will have to check out LIVE again. I cant believe they would sell this game, what a downgrade from last year.

Just go to the 2k forums and read. The game has a game breaking frame-rate problem whenever you go into the paint. They obviously rushed this out to meet their release date.

For the sake of the argument, I will keep this brief.

This is the first time in almost 5 years I have played an NBA game on the new gen systems since the first ones came out.

The graphics are great as always but it’s what you expect from a 2K game.

The presentation is good and the controls still give me a pick up and play feel.

I guess if I had any complaints it would be in some of the framerate glitches in the game play whereas sometimes you see players just ‘float’ across the screen occasionally or major loss of framerate during transition drives. But it really doesn’t break the game.

I do appreciate however the ‘real world’ feel of the game as you play you get ‘up to date’ news about league happenings so that the commentary doesn’t feel too old.

Playing this still makes me wish that when the NFL Licence expires a game will be made. Yes, people will hate hearing this but it’s the truth.

Between this ad NBA Live, this is the better buy.
