It charges PS3 controllers just fine. I picked this charger because of the USB charging ports, but it doesn’t charge my iPod and iPhone.
if you are a purist like me that likes to take care of your components and keep them in tip top shape don’t buy this charging station. After a period of time from placing and removing my ps3 controllers into the charging cradle it scratched up my controllers. I couldn’t even buff out the scratches with a soft cloth. If you are a purist just keep charging through the USB port provided through the ps3 system itself. Your wallet will probably thank you for it when you try to resell the system and its components when it becomes a vintage console.
I’ve been playing this in my spare time…and I love it !!! Excellent graphics and voice overs !! And of course well done Batman Game.
It looks cool set up next to my PS3. The lights can be a bit bright at times, but not enough to not use this. Plugging the controllers in with one hand took some time to get used to, but very easy once you do. Good product.
Don’t get me wrong this charger works. I would be happy with it if I didn’t also have the Nyko charge base. The only real complaint I have about the Energizer is that you have to line up the controller to plug it in to the base.
With the Nyko you just drop it in. Again the Energizer charger works fine and you will probably be satisfied if you purchase it. Before you buy I would check out the Nyko. If there isn’t much of a price difference you will probably be happier with it.
