  1. Ok you have an additional 10 characters, a few extra stages, and a 2nd ultra; this is what SF4 should of been. They could of just easily made this down-loadable instead of re releasing another version for $40 bucks. This isn’t a bad game it’s just not satisfying for SF fans and Capcom continues to ignore its fans. Ryu and Ken are still missing moves, still no assign stages, still no parrying, no mild blood like previous SF games, Vega is still very disappointing because he’s weak and slow when in the past(especially in Capcom vs Snk 2)he was the fastest and one of the most deadliest characters in the game, still only just 1 super when in the past everyone had at least 3 moves and some any where from 4-6 unlike here you only have the option to do 2 moves in a match, no option to unlock to perform both ultras like in SF3, some of the ultras are absurd and not entertaining at all, as you choose your character it no longer shows where their from, there is no more animated cut scenes instead it’s just comic scenes.

Most biggest disappointment of all, characters like Hugo, Eagle, Maki, Rolento, and Elena should of least made the cut instead we get a character name Hakan who is terrible and boring. Hugo and Zangief would of been a nice rival and Hugo’s ultras would of been nice; plus him, Maki and Rolento would fit in perfectly since we have Guy and Cody. I don’t see why Eagle didn’t make it either. Eagle and Dudley would of been perfect rivals since the only time we see him is in SF1, Capcom vs SNK and SF Alpha 3 max. He would of fit perfectly in this game. My biggest complaint is how in the world did Elena not make the cut yet African stages are present in this game; fans even wanted her. She is such a unique character, she brings diversity to the SF series and is the only character in the SF universe to have the fighting style capoeira; it’s like the missing art in SF. Imagine her in 3-D with her elegant moves and her sex appeal; her ultras would be nice too. I don’t understand why she wasn’t in this version because she is a popular character especially over characters such as T. Hawk and the new character name Hakan. Great, another Rufus type of character. Putting her in SSF4 would definitely fill that void and boost the game up in terms of variety. Overall, this isn’t a bad game but not satisfying for SF fans because this is what SF4 should of been. After I complete this with every character I will sell it back at Gamestop.

  2. no fun. bad graphics, difficult gameplay, not very user friendly, i just got it played it for a few hours and trading it in asap.

this is not a fun game you can pick up and play…

online gameplay is messy and difficult to maneuver and no rematch ability!

One reviewer was right. Nothing new here just more of the same. Capcom could have easily made it downloadable. But i guess its hard to sell add-on’s for $40. Just another example of these game and movie companies milking the ‘ol cash cow. The trend is actually pretty disgusting. Personally i’ll wait till this hits the $20 bin.

  4. SSF IV on PS3 is a great fighting game… SF IV was lackluster but this one is beast. You got to get it, dawg… You’ll feel really good inside.

Thanks to my pre order from Gamestop (shout out to them) I got this game on Sunday as a special early release to those who pre-ordered the game. That was a pleasant surprise, after playing the game for three days I can firmly say this is a legit up grade to SFIV. They manage to make this feel like a different game. Which is amazing speaking to the fact that it is just SFIV with extra stuff. They changed the interface, ditched indestructable (in a sick weird way I miss it a lil) and just made the presentation more visualy appealing. As you already know there are ten new characters. Juri is alot of fun to use, here moves a fluid. She is quick agile and just a bad a$$. The thing that suprised me about her, is she has a very sexual quality to her. She just comes across evil and lustfull. Which I kinda like. Ibuki has some many moves it is rediculous, it is a shame that 3rd strike didn’t do well because there is no reason on Earth this character should have not been in SF game prior to this. Again agile quick, and has a plethora of cool moves. Her ninja star ultra, I don’t know the name of it is very entertaining to watch. Makoto comes across a very straight forward character with a number of quick rush atacks. She is not as flashy as the prior characters I’ve mentioned, but I’m sure over time I’ll get the full uses of her range of atacks. That for now is it for the new characters I’v used. Juri and Ibuki have taken up so much of my time I haven’t gotten to DeeJay, Cody and Guy, which I plan to. But, the stars of this game for me are Juri and Ibuki. I tend to lean toward female characters. So adding them to Chun li and Sakura, I should have well rounded group of fighters I’m good with. So should you buy this game, yes if you had SFIV then you just need to get and not think about it. If your new to fighting game this is a good place to start. Then if you get the fighting bug, pick up Alpha Anthology and SF Anniversary collection for SFIII 3rd strike, that game is worth the price of admision alone. Very fun highly recomended.
