I’m usually not just staying on the xmb for long anyway, so the visuals don’t matter too much (although they do look great and I like changing my background constantly to pictures and themes, but not as amazing as xbox) but when it really comes down to it, xbox menu is way too slow and confusing for me, ps3 so simple and so fast. And I’d rather be faster than have my eyes pleased more(?) come one people. Ps3 point.
Look, Microsoft is making a 360 that fits the blue ray player which will then allow them to make bigger games. Everyone wants bigger games. Sony offered that first but game developers cant afford the time money and expertise.

This is definitly a matter of preference, not dissin the PS3′s interface, I actually prefer the 360′s interface more. Point givin to 360.
I never said that. the ps3 wii and 360 have all took some ideas from one another to make their system better. But truth be told it comes down to the Wii is for very small kids/ancient adults. The 360 is for teenagers whose like revolves around games and that is it. The ps3 if for real adults, that want to play real games. Watch the tv show they missed, watch new movies that just come out, browse the internet, talk with friends, and more. Take that you stupid 14 year old kids.

Great review but I think you missed two things:
1. PS3 music/video accessibility can get frustrating when you have 1000s of files. Very difficult to sort through at times.
2. Media servers? I don’t know how (or if) this works for the Xbox but PS3 has extremely easy access and support for media servers that allows you to stream content off of the PS3…to that point, what about remote access via PSP?
The XMB interface on Ps3 is more stabile…
…xmb was created with the psp… which came out, like, YEARS before the xbox’s new ui came out.
