The players are offered the option of three play modes- story, party and QuickPlay. The fans get to chose characters from amongst their favourite stars in the movie, viz. Gabriella, Troy, Ryan, Chad or Taylor. The game features super hit songs from the movie in solo or duet, such as Something New’ and ‘We’re All in this Together.
